PRICING OF THE LUGO COURSE

Details of costs

Here are details for the cost of coming on the course in Lugo.

Please note:

  1. All players must pay the course fee.  
  2. The fee remains the same, even if you cannot attend the whole week.
  3. Spouses / partners / children / friends who do not play in the orchestra pay a reduced fee.
  4. The fee for players and non-players alike covers the welcome meal, the final meal/party, the guided tour around Lugo and another day-long excursion. Other sessions/trips may require separate payment – see the Schedule on the Full Info page for details. 
  5. It is possible to pay in instalments. Please enquire.
  6. If there are considerable fluctuations in the Sterling to Euro exchange rate the amounts quoted here may go up or down.
  7. The fee is not transferable to another person, nor is it possible to roll your fee over to any subsequent year, for any reason.

Course Fee

  • Please note: course fee figures given are in Sterling (GBP).
  • Course fee = £475 per person.
  • Non-player fee = £130 per person.
  • A discount of £30 is available if you pay before the end of April 2026, are a full-time student, or bring an extra orchestra member (one ‘extra’ discount available per group) .
  • An additional discount of £50 is available if you book to come on both this course and the Sicily course.  Please enquire if you would be interested to do this.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

This refund policy covers two eventualities: 1. We cancel. 2. You cancel. In either eventuality, this policy deals only with the course fee – the cost of travel, accommodation and any other costs/expenses are not covered by, nor relevant to, this policy.

  1. We cancel

    Please note that there is a minimum number of participants required to make the course viable, and if that number is not reached then cancellation is possible, up to 2 months before the start date of the course. If, for this reason, or any other, we were to cancel the course, any payment or payments that you have made for the course fee would be refunded.  

  2. You cancel

    If you need to cancel your attendance on the course for health reasons you would be refunded, upon presentation of a doctor’s note, 50% of the course fee that you have already paid (i.e. up to a refund of £227.50, if you have paid the full fee). No portion of the course fee is refundable for any other reason.
